Q. Can the clip–ins be cut?
A. All extensions, whether synthetic or human, can be cut. However, we recommend that all extensions be customized by your salon professional to match your hair and meet your style expectations. Synthetic extensions should generally be cut with a razor to add layering or fringe around the face, due to the denure of the fiber. Clip–in extensions systems are designed to look great as–is without a lot of cutting or customization.

A. No, they will not fall out of your hair. If they are pulled, they can slip down a bit, but with one hand, you can reach under your hair and open and re–snap the clip. Most clips used on the various types are designed with a rubber coating that provides an additional non–slip surface to secure them to your hair. A. Keep your extensions clean and dry when storing them. Storing the extensions in a plastic bag will help keep them fresh and ready to wear. A good rule of thumb for washing your hair extensions would be to wash them when the fiber begins to look dull. Try to wash them as infrequently as possible. Synthetic products should be washed every 4–6 wearings, and human hair should be washed every 3–4 wearings. These figures apply to every day/all day wear of extensions and not to special occasion or infrequent use of extensions.
Q. Storage for Wigs.
A: The best way to store a wig is on a wig stand or mannequin. Storing a wig on a wig stand prevents the wig from becoming tangled, misshapen or dirty between uses. The wig stand will also help maintain the factory produced style and shape of your wig. Wigs should be stored in a cool dry place free of dust, humid and high temperatures.

Q. How do I put on a wig?
A. Wigs should be worn on the natural hairline (for most people it is four finger-widths above the eyebrow).
- Remove wig from the plastic bag or box. Gently remove the protective hair net from your wig. Give your wig a few good shakes to separate the fibers and give somebody to the hair. Some wigs need to be shaken to release the preset styling.
- Brush your hair off your face at the top and sides. If your hair is too long, you may want use bobby pins to help keep it off your face, back at the sides, and up at the nape. Some women use a wig liner or wig cap to keep their existing hair in place.
- Hold your wig at the sides with the woven label in back. Place it at your natural hairline and slide it on from front to back. Adjust the wig as needed so the front edge is just over your natural hairline. Use the ear tabs to center your wig from left to right. Adjust the Velcro tabs in the back if necessary for a more secure fit.
- Tuck in any stray hairs at the front, sides and nape. Now you're ready for styling!
Q. How do I wash the Hair Extensions/ Wig?
A: Just like your own hair, synthetic hair will accumulate residue through normal wear. However, you do not need to wash the synthetic hair everyday to keep consistent results. The fiber should be washed as infrequently as possible or when you notice that the fiber appears dull. If you are wearing the hair all day, every day, you can wash them after 2 months wearings.
Before shampooing, gently remove any tangles or teasing with your fingers or a pick comb. Do not brush.
Add one teaspoonful of any mild shampoo to two quarts cold - never hot - water.
Immerse the hair and soak 3-5 minutes, then gently swish up and down. Do not rub.
Rinse thouroughly twice in cold water.
Dab gently with a towel to remove excess water. Do not squeeze or twist.
While still wet, spray with a leave in conditioner that is specifically formulated for synthetic hair goods.
